Credits and licences
The map data the viewer can show, who made it, and the licence each part is used under.
Built into the viewer
- Natural Earth
The coastlines on every map. Public domain.
IP address details
- IPLocate.io
Right-click a node that holds an IP address and the viewer shows its country and network. The answers come from IPLocate.io’s free IP to Country and IP to ASN databases. Credit: IP address data powered by IPLocate.io. Licence: CC BY-SA 4.0. This site checks for their newest data each day and converts it to the viewer’s range format. Where ranges nest, the most specific one wins, and the box shows the date of the data it used. The converted files are shared under the same licence, with a licence note. For the offline viewer they come as one file.
Map layers
2 layers, grouped as in the viewer’s Source menu.

Layers you add yourself
Files you open in the viewer, and layers made with your own keys, keep their own credits in the viewer’s Credits panel. They never pass through this site.
